Last April 21, 2025 at Beomjeong Hall, Pampanga State Agricultural University and Dankook University have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding and a Student Mobility Agreement to establish a strong academic and cultural partnership. This collaboration reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to promote the internationalization of higher education through enhanced academic cooperation and global engagement.
The agreement outlines joint efforts in several areas, including student and faculty exchanges, collaborative research initiatives, shared academic conferences, and cultural programs. These initiatives are aimed at fostering mutual understanding, academic excellence, and cross-cultural learning between the two universities.
Representing Dankook University were Dr. Jaeil Kim, Executive Vice President for External Affairs, Mr. Jihoon Jang, Assistant Director of the Office of International Affairs, Ms. Jiehyun Park and Mr. Tim Kaiser, Global Engagement Coordinators.
Pampanga State Agricultural University was represented by Dr. Anita G. David, University President, Ms. Mina Lyn G. Alviz, Acting Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Mr. Carlo D. De Dios, Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages.
This international partnership aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable education and lifelong learning opportunities for all, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, which emphasizes the importance of cross-border collaboration to achieve sustainable development. Through this initiative, PSAU and Dankook University reaffirm their dedication to advancing education, research, and global cooperation for a more interconnected and resilient future.
