To strengthen institutional planning and ensure compliance with government procurement policies, Pampanga State Agricultural University held a Workshop on the Preparation of PPMP 2026 and Updates in Government Procurement on June 4-5, 2025, at the 2nd floor of the University Food Center. The two-day activity brought together representatives from various university clusters: Office of the President, Research, Innovation, Extension and Training, Administration and Finance, Academic Affairs, and Planning and Resource Generation.

The program featured key topics such as updates on procurement guidelines discussed by Ms. Julie Zen P. Sunga, Administrative Officer V, and a hands-on workshop on PPMP 2026 preparation facilitated by Ms. Ara Carla E. Dingal, Administrative Officer III. Mr. Juan Karlo Arcilla, Administrative Officer I, served as the emcee, while Mr. Jesus E. Pangilinan, Jr., Administrative Aide VI, provided support throughout the event.

The workshop was spearheaded by the Procurement Unit and supported by the Budget Unit, represented by Ms. Margie Anne G. Salas, Budget Officer and one of the resource speakers. Oversight and direction were provided by Ms. Mina Lyn G. Alviz, MAEd, Acting Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Dr. Joan C. Reyes, Director for Administrative Services.

The Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), chaired by Dr. Lyndon G. Solis, also contributed significantly to the event, with strong organizational support from the BAC Secretariat composed of Ms. Rizalyn N. Ayeras, Ms. Bernadette R. Aligoro, and Mr. Cristian S. Santos

The event concluded with closing remarks from Mr. Renato S. Galang, Procurement Officer, who emphasized the importance of strategic planning and teamwork in achieving streamlined, transparent, and accountable procurement processes.

This initiative reflects PSAU’s commitment to SDG 16: Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions, promoting good governance, institutional integrity, and efficient public service.
