
PSAU Excels at National Biotechnology Week 2024
PSAU proudly celebrates the outstanding achievements of its delegates at the National Biotechnology Week 2024, held at UP Los Baños. The university earned the Overall Ranking of 1st Runner-Up, showcasing the brilliance, dedication, and hard work of its students and coaches.
Among the remarkable accomplishments, David Sean Luis Mercado secured 2nd Place in Essay Writing, while the BioTechTok team, led by Marcus Emile Franco as Head and Director, earned 3rd Place. The team included Heart Tayag, John Ashley Quiambao, Audrey Ferrer, Jeanabel Ramos, and David Sean Luis Mercado. In the Extemporaneous Speech competition, Tracy Jeff Paguinto achieved 4th Place, and the National Inter-Collegiate Genetics Quiz Contest group, composed of Jeanabel Ramos, Liam Eiwel Paras, and Marcus Ocampo, garnered 5th Place.
These accomplishments were made possible under the guidance of the committed teacher coaches, Dr. Monaliza Cayanan and Ms. Darlene Jane Espiritu, as well as the unwavering support of Dean Evelyn V. Totaan, who has been a steadfast advocate of excellence and innovation in biotechnology. Their leadership and encouragement played a significant role in the success of the delegates.
PSAU extends its heartfelt congratulations to the entire team for their exceptional performance, bringing pride and honor to the university.
