Pampanga State Agricultural University further strengthens its commitment to local community engagement through its cultural exchange program with Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) of Uzbekistan.

On February 27, 2025, TSAU delegates, led by Dr. Abduvasikov Abduaziz, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Transformation, and Strategic Development, and Ms. Koilova Ayna, Leading Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation and Ratings from the Ministry of Agriculture, visited the Cruzian MPC in Sta. Cruz, Magalang, and St. Isidore the Farmer in Sta. Ana. These visits were part of a collaborative effort with PSAU’s Office of Extension and Training, led by Dr. Amalia C. Briones, Director, Mr. Emmanuel A. Cabral, Assistant Director, and Ms. Jocelyn D. Baluyut, Community Development Officer I. The engagement highlighted the importance of sustainable agricultural practices and fostering stronger partnerships with local cooperatives.

This initiative supports SDG 8: Decent Work and Economic Growth by fostering partnerships that empower local farmers, improve agricultural productivity, and create sustainable livelihoods.
