On November 08, 2024, the pre-service teachers under the College of Education received their CBRC Diagnostic Assessment results for General Education and Professional Education. The event was facilitated by the College of Education Student Council, honoring students’ outstanding examination results, and creating a warm and welcoming environment for them.
The CBRC diagnostic examination is used to measure the preparedness and knowledge level of pre-service teachers, especially in preparing for the Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET) in the Philippines.
Several students from the Bachelor of Elementary Education demonstrated exceptional performance, gathering seven (7) top scorers in the recent examination. Among these top students, Mr. Angelo Dimalanta was awarded Top 1 in General Education. Top 3 in Professional Education was bagged by Ms. Cyrille Caguiat, while Ms. Elaisa Mae Castillo was awarded Top 5. Ms. Valerie Anne Romas was Top 7, and Ms. Dianne Salenga, Ms. Naomi Ruth Ramos, and Ms. Kim Ira Villar were Top 8 in General Education and Professional Education, respectively.
The results from the examination indicate the BEEd program’s competence to prepare aspiring teachers with excellent fundamental skills and knowledge. Due to this, confidence arose that another batch of well-rounded pre-service teachers produced by the program could impart valuable knowledge to young learners.
This event was held at the Rafael Lazatin Audio Visual Center of Pampanga State Agricultural University with the College of Education Student Council Officers and Adviser, College of Education Faculty and 4th-year students from various programs in the College of Education.
