Biography: | She finished her Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant and Management in the year 2002 at the Republic Central Colleges in Angeles City and had her master’s degree in Business Administration in 2012 in the same school. She also took up a culinary short course at Most Institute Balibago Angeles City in 2012. She is currently handling the position of Assistant Professor IV from the College of Hospitality Entrepreneurship & Food Sciences and assigned to handle the subjects of Basic and Advance Culinary, Catering Management, and Tourism. She is tasked by her immediate supervisor to be one of the coaches of several culinary and food-related contests conducted by government and private institutions in Region III. She coached and championed several culinary and food-related contests conducted by the government and private organizations in Region III, such as BFAR 3 Agri Aqua Trade Fair in June 2017, BFAR 3 Agri Aqua Trade Fair in November 2019, and The HARP (Hotel and Restaurant Association in Pampanga, INC.), and Cook-off Challenge Year 8-Central Luzon Edition April 2023. Prof Cunanan was also awarded the Extensionist of the Year in 2022. She ensures that scientific technologies developed in the university are transferred to the communities and households through extension projects. Through continued education training and research, Prof Cunanan envisions her students to become world-class hoteliers, restaurateurs, and hospitality managers in the future. She stands firm to conduct training, educating, and providing expertise to strengthen the competitiveness of individuals in the university’s adopted community. |
