On April 25, 2025, Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) and Shinhan University, South Korea formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the latter institution, marking a pivotal step toward strengthening academic collaboration and joint research initiatives between the two institutions.
This strategic partnership specifically aims to expand the frontiers of knowledge through faculty and student exchanges, collaborative research projects, and the sharing of innovative educational practices.
Pampanga State Agricultural University was represented by Dr. Anita G. David (University President), Ms. Mina Lyn G. Alviz (Acting Vice President for Administration and Finance), and Mr. Carlo D. De Dios (Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages).
Meanwhile, Shinhan University was represented by Sung Jong Kang (University President), Hyun Kyu Cho (International Affairs Dean), Dae Sung Lee (International Affairs Vice Dean), Seung Hee Yang (Budget Affairs Dean), Seung Gu Choi (General Affairs Dean), Won-Sun Lim (College of Social Sciences Head), Jong Woo Shin (College of Health Science Head), and Kim Won-ki (University Professor).
As such, this agreement aligns with SDG 4: Quality Education – fostering a more globally connected academic environment and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals – signifying a meaningful advancement in both universities’ efforts toward internationalization.
