A momentous occasion took place on February 27, 2025, as Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) and Tashkent State Agrarian University (TSAU) solidified their partnership through two key agreements: a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two universities and a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between PSAU, its Office of Extension and Training, and TSAU.

The memoranda were signed by PSAU President, Dr. Anita G. David, Vice President for Research, Innovation, Extension, and Training, Dr. Geraldine C. Sanchez, and Director of the Office of Extension and Training, Dr. Amalia C. Briones. TSAU was represented by Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Transformation, and Strategic Development, Dr. Abduvasikov Abduaziz, and Leading Specialist of the Department of International Cooperation and Ratings, Ms. Koilova Ayna.

These agreements aim to foster long-term academic and cultural collaborations, enhancing global learning opportunities and advancing the shared goals of both institutions.

The MOA focuses on sustainable agricultural initiatives, community development, and collaborative research to enhance modern farming techniques. This initiative supports SDG 2: Zero Hunger by promoting food security and empowering farming communities with innovative agricultural practices.

These agreements mark a significant milestone in PSAU and TSAU’s shared vision of advancing education, research, and community engagement on a global scale.
