
Pampanga State Agricultural University recently signed a Memorandum of Agreement with the University of the Philippines Open University and the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology Region III on October 7, 2024, in Guagua, Pampanga.
This collaboration aims to provide academic programs to Persons Deprived of Liberty (PDLs), enhancing their opportunities for education and personal development.
Representatives from the University of the Philippines Open University included Chancellor Ms. Melinda DP. Bandalaria and Dean Ms. Charisse T. Reyes of the Faculty of Education.
PSAU officials present were University President Dr. Anita G. David, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Sylvia de Guzman, Director for Extension and Training Dr. Amalia C. Briones, Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages Asst. Prof. Carlo D. De Dios, and Community Development Officer I Ms. Jocelyn Baluyut, along with the dedicated staff from the University.
