Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU) proudly participated in the official welcome for Dr. Angelo B. Bañares, who specializes in Metabolic Engineering, under the DOST-PCIEERD Balik Scientist Program (Medium-Term Category) on June 13, 2025, held at the DOST-PCIEERD Conference Room and DOST Central Office, Bicutan, Taguig City.

Accompanying Dr. Bañares were Dir. Carlo D. De Dios, Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages, and Dr. Evelyn V. Totaan, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences. The courtesy visit served as a platform to explore future research collaborations—particularly in metabolic engineering and synthetic biology—between PSAU and DOST-PCIEERD.
