On September 4, 2025, Pampanga State Agricultural University, represented by University President Dr. Anita G. David and Asst. Prof. Carlo D. De Dios, Director for Public Affairs and International Linkages, joined the CHEDRO III ASEAN Conference 2025 at Hotel Seoul, Clark, Pampanga with the theme “HIRAYA: Honoring Internationalization through Regional ASEAN-Yearned Alliances.”
The opening ceremonies were led by the PSU Guintung Siuala Singers, followed by a welcome message from Dr. Lora L. Yusi, Director IV of CHEDRO III. The event showcased ASEAN heritage through cultural performances, including the PSAU La Granja Modelo Dance Troupe, proudly representing the university and Central Luzon on a regional stage.
The program also included a Forum on ASEAN Integration with Dr. Myran Mallari, a Plenary Session, and the ASEAN Commitment Board Wine Toasting, which also recognized WURI awardees with Dr. Lora L. Yusi. It concluded with closing remarks by Dr. John Wesley S. Calagui, Education Supervisor II, and the rendition of the ASEAN Hymn and Bagong Pilipinas Song by the PSU Guintung Siuala Singers.
Through its active participation, PSAU reaffirms its commitment to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—SDG 4: Quality Education, by promoting global learning and cultural exchange; and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, by strengthening regional alliances and international cooperation.
