PSAU has received the prestigious TOP 8 award at the 2024 PADS Innovative Awards for Higher Education. The university was recognized for its outstanding implementation of a comprehensive and innovative Drug Education and Prevention Program, fully complying with Executive Order No. 66, s.2018, which aims to institutionalize the Philippine Anti-Illegal Drug Strategy.
This remarkable achievement underscores PSAU’s commitment to creating a drug-free educational institution and contributing to a drug-free Philippines. The award ceremony, held on May 17, 2024, at the CHED Auditorium in Diliman, Quezon City, was a momentous occasion, with the honor bestowed by J. Prospero E. De Vera III, DPA, Chairman of the Commission on Higher Education.
Leading the delegation to receive this esteemed award were PSAU President Dr. Anita G. David, Vice President for Academic Affairs Dr. Sylvia S. De Guzman, OSAS Director Dr. Arnello S. Valerio, and Head of Medical Services Dr. Zilpha Florinda F. Liwanag. Together, they exemplify PSAU’s dedication to excellence and innovation in higher education.
Special recognition goes to Dominic Manalo, Marcos Emile Franco, Elmar Christian Arellano, Renzo Magalay, David Sean Luis Mercado, and Asst.
