The symposium gathered brilliant minds from PSAU Department of Mathematics and Maejo University for a dynamic exchange of research and ideas, in cooperation with the Office of Public Affairs and International Linkages (OPAIL).
Presentations featured Mr. Erwin B. Maniago (PSAU faculty), Ma. Esperanza M. Garcia and Paolo L. Del Rosario (PSAU alumni), and MJU exchange students Krissana Antharat and Natchanon Bunkuea.
BS Math 4A presenters: Alwyn B. Paleb, John Nicole S. Pineda, Maria Haydee Ablay, Noime G. Gamban, Jerome A. Malang, and Jayvee S. David.
Vice President for RIET Dr. Geraldine C. Sanchez and Director of Office of Public Affairs and International Linkages, Mr. Carlo D. De Dios, graced the event, underscoring the importance of cross-border collaboration.
The symposium was facilitated by PSAU’s dedicated faculty members: Dr. Aldrin P. Mendoza, Assoc. Prof. Ivy Gay O. Salvador, Assoc. Prof. Aiza D. Villavicencio, Alvin M. Supan, Erwin B. Maniago, and Micah L. Abrasaldo.
By linking mathematics with agriculture, climate, technology, and public health, the symposium advances SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals), proving that math is not just theory—it drives sustainable solutions.
