On May 8–9, 2025, the Office of Gender and Development (GAD) of Pampanga State Agricultural University, headed by its Director, Assoc. Prof. Marie Anne Valerio, conducted a two-day Capacity Building on the Use of GAD Focal Point System Functionality Assessment Tool and the Gender Mainstreaming Evaluation Framework. Held at the 2nd Floor of the University Food Center from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the event aimed to enhance the university’s capacity in institutionalizing gender-responsive governance.
Serving as the resource speaker was Ms. Vichel Rse J. Pangan, a recognized member of the Philippine Commission on Women’s National GAD Resource Pool. Her in-depth discussions and practical applications of GAD assessment tools empowered participants to evaluate and improve gender mainstreaming initiatives within their respective units.
