On February 18, 2025, Tarlac Agricultural University conducted a benchmarking visit at the Department of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering of Pampanga State Agricultural University (PSAU), reinforcing its commitment to fostering partnerships for sustainable development and academic excellence. This initiative aligns with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 4: Quality Education, which promotes inclusive and equitable education, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, emphasizing collaboration to strengthen institutional capacities.
The visit was led by Dr. Catherine D. Pueyo, Department Chair of TAU’s Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering, alongside an esteemed delegation of faculty and engineering professionals, namely Engr. Bennidict P. Pueyo, Engr. Fatima P. Gumamac, Engr. Jesus Tolentino, Engr. Hakeem V. Canonio, Engr. Chelsie C. Pagatpatan, and Engr. Guiller B. Damian.
Representing PSAU were Dr. Lyndon G. Solis, Vice President for Planning and Resource Generation; Dr. Madeline R. Solis, Dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Studies; Engr. Melissa P. Olalia, Department Chair of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering; along with faculty members Dr. Anthony C. Nicdao, Dr. Rodel T. Lorenzo, Engr. Sydney C. Samson, Dr. Solomon L. Roque, and Dr. Mai Rowena C. Tanquilut.
