On February 2, 2025, PSAU hosted the welcome ceremony for the Cadet Officer Qualifying Course (COQC) SY 2024-2025 at the PSAU Grandstand.
Dr. Sylvia S. De Guzman, Vice-President for Academic Affairs at PSAU, served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. The event was organized by the 303rd Community Defense Center, 3RCDG, RESCOM, PA of Angeles City and was attended by distinguished guests, including Mr. John Paul S. Viray, PSAU NSTP Director; Maj. Henry S. Clemente (OS) PA, Deputy Director of 303 CDC; LTC Albert M. Ortiz (OS) PA, 303 CDC Director; Maj. Rogelio J. Isip PA (RES), PSAU ROTC Commandant; Argel Matutino, PSAU ROTC Coordinator; and ROTC Facilitators AJ Aquino and Alvin Supan.
Cadet officers from various institutions, including Holy Angel University (HAU), Don Honorio Ventura State University (DHVSU), CELTECH, St. Mary’s Academy of Pampanga (SMACP), and PSAU, participated in the ceremony. The event marked the beginning of their training, reinforcing the commitment to Quality Education (SDG 4) by equipping cadets with essential leadership and service skills. It also exemplified Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17) by fostering collaboration among educational institutions.
The ceremony highlighted the dedication to developing future leaders and strengthening excellence in service.
