Indeed, the achievements of the students is a reflection of the quality of education offered by the school. With the support of the university and the college, the PSAU-CVM team emerged as champion for the third consecutive year in the annual parasitology quiz contest, “26th PARAmihan ng Alam Quiz Contest”, hosted by the UP Alpha Chiron Society (UPACS), held on February 11, 2019 at the CVM Communal Building Lecture Room, University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB), Los Baños, Laguna.

The three-man team was composed of Mari Ciela Elyze C. Tuazon, Kier D. Tayag and Jenalyn Joy S. Dizon. The quiz contest revolved on questions about Veterinary Entomology, Protozoology and Helminthology. The event was participated by students from the different veterinary schools across the country. Other winners were from prestigious schools like Central Luzon State University (2nd runner-up) and UPLB (3rd runner-up). The PSAU-CVM team received P10, 000 cash, trophy and other prizes from the sponsors of the event.

Activities such as this serve as an inspiration to other students to keep doing their best towards academic excellence.
